"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you did not do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour, catch the tradewinds in your sails.
Explore,.....Dream,.......Discover."

Gosport, Presqu'ille Bay

After a easy sail from Cobourg we arrived at Presqu'ille bay. We chose to dock at Harbourview Motel and Marina in Gosport. The wind was howling when docked but we had no trouble tying up. We have  learned from a couple slight mishaps earlier in the week where a finger got cut and a fall in a hole in the grass. The rule is now, to wear shoes when docking. We are learning as we go . Our afternoon project was to remove all 200 feet of anchor chain out of the locker then mark it at 50 ft. intervals, this way we will know the correct amount of chain to let out when anchoring.

If the weather holds out, which has been fantastic we will set sail in the early morning to cross the lake to Oswego, Ny. where the canal starts.
