"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you did not do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour, catch the tradewinds in your sails.
Explore,.....Dream,.......Discover."

Oswego Harbour

Spent a relaxing day here in the harbour, had to it's too hot to start preparing the mast to be taken down. It will take us about a couple of hours to complete it but we got til monday to get it done so we're not in a bind yet. When I first checked the weather for this week it was suppose to be rainy but like always Mr weatherman got it wrong. We are not complaining.
In the early afternoon we were going to take the bus to Walmart but It only runs about every hour so called a cab instead. Did some more restocking and now our lockers are full. We have enough food for 2 months. They have an amazing selection of different foods. I don't think you should go shopping hungry.
When the sun went down we started to take the sails off, but were slowed down by a couple who were asking us about our boat. We find so many people that are interested in classic looking boats.

  3. Teddy you are docked where we were when came home in 2011, same place we put up the mast. Make sure you walk up and see the first lock and see how they operate there and you will get a feel for how everything will be as you get on. Watch for the weather accross the lake as it is a days sail, and remember tie up on the wall on your port side. Will keep watching and enjoying your posts all the best.
